So Saturday dawned, bright and sunny. Phil and Kristi came over to staff some of the rooms, I took the studio and Gee Gee handled the living room. That structure didn't last long, as groups of people started arriving one after the other, and we just had to usher them around as best we could. In the end, over 170 people visited the house.
The studio was the last stop in the house, then we could usher people out the back door.
There was a lot of discussion of bridge parties held in this room by the former owners, and bridal showers as well. It looked very different then, of course.
Most people had never heard of fiber art, and thought the Blue Chair pieces were paintings. Once they looked up close and saw that it was all fiber, there were lots of questions.
