My exciting creative adventure for today was cleaning up the studio. I'm expecting guests tomorrow, wanted to look my best. Plants went back outside, hoping for real spring this time, scraps were folded and put away, painting supplies went into the correct tub. No new work to show off today, just system maintenance. I did get the front door all painted on both sides; will get a photo up next week. For now, like everyone else I know, I'm itching to plant something outside. We're all a bit mistrustful of the weather, don't want new plants to die of cold, but in this area we usually have some wildflowers by now. My Chinese fringe bush was in full flower and then got frozen; the poor blossoms now just skeletal and brownish. The next couple of weeks should bring us into real spring, and then I can go agave shopping.
Weebly's statistics graph tells me I had over 200 visitors to this blog on March 6. Whatever happened? Where did y'all come from? I haven't signed up for the "advanced" level of Weebly support, which would give me more information about visitors, so all I get is a number for each day. But my previous high census was around 110, so I'm just bemused. If I did something right, I'd like to know what it is! So, some of you might leave a comment if so inclined, especially if you visited for the first time.
