Now the laundry is done, suitcase put away, souvenirs for family awaiting a chance to distribute. And I've returned to the sewing machine, fooled with the tension, and begun the work. It feels so good! The cruise line is already sending ads for future trips, but I think I'd prefer something more focused on fiber or folk art the next time. I need more serious involvement, deeper information and a chance to see things being made to feel satisfied. It's good to realize this; it will make future planning much easier. Even though I haven't noted any Puritans in my family history, it's clear that I feel a need to earn these trips through achieving something first, or gaining learning that will enhance future work. It comes from somewhere--don't know where.
The cat is happy to have her warm lap back, and bites me affectionately to let me know I'm welcome.
