ANOTHER TRIUMPH OF EXUBERANCE OVER PRECISION

Self-taught (and mother and grandmother- taught) artist in Eagle Lake, TX working in cloth, yarn, wire, rocks, sticks, beads, sequins, threads, shells, found objects, old clothing, knitted and crocheted bits, paint, embroidery, hand and machine stitch.  My art quilts fit the definition set out by Studio Art Quilt Association (SAQA): The art quilt is a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure.

Every piece has a story.  I particularly enjoy working elements of recipients' stories into my fiber art--which means that commissions are especially welcome.  Wander around the website, enjoy.   Please contact me to discuss ideas you may have.

All photos and the artwork they portray are copyrighted by the artist and may not be copied or reproduced without  permission.
