I'm trying to get photos from my so called "smart" phone to upload on the computer, but they won't. Apparently it's not that smart. So I can't post an illustrated progress report on this project--nor embarrass my friend Sue who was up on the ladder applying wallpaper. Sue is my comadre--the "other mother in law"--wish we had that word in English. She is an excellent wallpaper technician, and I was her loyal assistant. We both got a workout running up and down the stairs for two days. I'll have to go over there and take some photos with my real camera to upload. Anyway, next weekend we'll paint trim and maybe install the tub, sink and toilet. But don't hold your breath.
Enjoying the most glorious weekend weather ever, I didn't do any fiber work at all. My son and his wife are restoring their 103 year old house nearby, and this was the weekend for wallpapering the remodeled bathroom. The renovation has been ongoing (it feels like) forever, but now the contractors are done and the remaining work can be handled by family. Phil's carpentry skills are gaining in sophistication as he handles the trim, cabinet doors, etc. I am so delighted that he salvaged the antique wood from the demolition and refinished it to use as wainscoting.

I can't wait to see Phil and Kristi's work on the house. The bathroom sure seemed like quite the project! I have no doubt you were an exceptional wall papering assistant!!!
