Nice concept--a chance to meet other artists, no fees, no jury, no prizes, no pressure. So I fooled with the photos, thought about ghostly moons and mythical creatures and old bridges. It's done and I'm happy.
I had a dickens of a time getting the perspective on the bridge. It's way harder than it looks--tried doing it in pieces, but none of the pieces were the shape I thought they were. I ended up enlarging the photo and tracing the outline, then cutting the bridge all in one piece. I know people study perspective for years and now I understand why.
