New double-pane window installed in the bay. The original 1955 window needed total recaulking and repainting; not worth the expense when a new one would insulate better and control incoming light.
Karen is finishing the trim and cleaning the new one, much easier now since the muntins are enclosed between the glass panels.
Only the colonnade between back door and garage and the metal gate to the patio are left to be painted, then the work on the front door and we'll be done. Done. Done. I am so ready. On the other hand, the work has been very carefully executed and shouldn't have to be repeated in my lifetime. The next owner can worry about it.
